Target Setting
Hi! Here's the reflection on target setting.
Q1) What is the purpose of setting targets for the various subjects?
The purpose is to see which subjects you are poor at and revise more of those subjects.
Q2)Do you think this is useful? If 'Yes', why? If not, why?
Yes, I think it is useful as we set the targets to strive for better results and make you be the best.
Q3)How did you go about setting the targets for yourself?
I will compare the results last year and set the targets myself.
Q4)What are you doing to help you achieve your target? Do you have a plan? If so, what is it?
I am going to listen in class, do my work and hand in my work on time. I plan to do as many test papers or assessments as I can during my free time and not play so many games.
Q5)How are your parents helping you achieve your targets?
They are giving me tuition.
Q6)What will you do to motivate yourself towards achieving the targets?
I am going to to my best during the exams and strive for my targets.
Q7)What do you think your teacher/the school can help you achieve the targets?
I think that they can help me by giving me a little more homework for me and they will explain those things that we do not know.
Thank You for reading I also hope to see your reflections soon!

Total Defence Blogging Competition
Total Defence Day is important to each one of us as it makes you think that everyone has a part to play to defend Singapore for example the National Anthem, your friends or family. So now I am going to tell you what am I going to defend.
As the Singapore's flag is important to us, I decided to defend it. I think that the five stars means equality, democracy, peace, justice and unity. As you know peace means that we live with peace without any riots among our different races of people living in Singapore. I am going to defend them by rasing them high up during our school assembly and be proud of it.

December Holidays
My birthday was on the 14th December but I celebrated it on the 13th as 14th was a Sunday and the next day was a Monday and my parents had to work on the next day and we celebrated it by barbecuing and actually we wanted to book a chalet but it was fully booked but fortunately, my house downstairs had a barbecue pit so we booked it and I invited my tuition friends but they could not go so I just invited my relatives. I helped my parents by putting the butter on the food and my favourite food was the satay. We also bought BBQ marshmallow we barbecued until it was about 8.30pm then I went to the playground with my brother and relatives we played catching and more other games. Then it was time to cut the cake. The cake was delicious as the top layer was full of mangoes! The next day, when it was time to open the presents early in the morning, I called my brother to help me open as I just woke up and was very tired. There were storybooks and a few more other things. I enjoyed my birthday party very much.
It was the last day of 2008 when my family except my father went to Vivocity to join the countdown as you do not need to buy any ticket when you go in. We took the MRT as my father was driving the car. We went out at about 10pm so by the time we reached there was about 11.30pm and we had to find where the countdown is located at. As we did not know, we followed people as there were also many people heading that way. When we finally reached there, we tried to sqeeze through in the crowd to see what was going on. After about 15 minutes, it was time for the countdown. Then there were fireworks which were so beautiful. Immediately after that we went back when my brother said that he was hungry. I suggested to go to Macdonals but we just could not find it. So we went to Burger King to eat. We bought take away as the tables there was very messy. Then we went to look for a seat to eat. After we ate, we took the MRT back home again. As the MRT station was far from our house, we ad to walk back when we reached home we were all dead beat. Then we fell asleep immediately.

The Olympic Games
Finally! After 48 years of waiting, Singapore has got a silver medal of the table- tennis event. I am so happy but we must also put our hands together to Michael Phelps as he has won eight gold medals in the swimming competition in one Olympic Games which is not as possible as anyone could hardly do it but he was the one who broke the records of eight gold medals! Our singapore team has also done well and had done their best not to give up that shows us the Olympic spirit. I have watched lots of Olympic events on television. The diving event looks interesting as I saw how they gave the marks to them and see how they land and what kind of tricks when they dive. I am very impressed with all the competitors. I wish I could join the event on badminton. I think I must train very hard like the competitors in order to win the medal.

Racial Harmony Day
Last Monday, we celebrated Racial Harmony Day. There were many stalls that sold traditional food and game stalls. Also, some pupils from Suzhou China school was there with us too and with the school principal and two teachers. After assembly, we went back to our class and waited for our recess. It was recess and the p3 and 4s' recess was the same time from 9.00-10.00am. There were some food like satay, ice ball, cotton candy, roti prata (etc) sold there and there were some games like five stones, rubber band, conkak and many more. After recess, we had show time. The title is ''The Importance of Being Kapoh''. It was quite funny but many arguments in the show as one lady was singing to practice for the marrige of her sister where her singing had disturbed another ladys daughteer who was studying for her test tomorrow and there were other character like the police and a malay man. After the show we went to class for making the Bunga Manga. Although I did not make as I was with Zong Hui, Jing Jie and Prashanth. We went for our CCA to sell postcards. After selling, we went back to class but they had finished making the Bunga Manga. After school, I went back home.
I really wished there was another day of Racial Harmony Day where I had great fun on that day. I had really enjoyed the day.

Cyberbullying
1. What is Cyberbullying? Cyberbullying is that when people bully online or try to do something bad to others.
2. What do the cyberbullies do to others? They will hack or block someone account and even say bad words.
3. Why do these people engage in cyberbullying? They hate them or they wanted to make fun of them as they think is fun.
4. How can you stop these people from cyberbullying? Tell them that it is not right to do that. If they still don't stop, ask them if they were the victim which people make fun of, do they like that as it will hurt their feelings like they hurt others now.
5. Have you encountered any cyberbullies when you surf the internet? If so, what did they doto you? How did you stop the cyberbully/cyberbullies from bullying you? I have not encounted any cyberbullies before when I surf the internet. But if I were the victim, I will not surf the internet for a while as it will sent virus sometimes.
6.What would you tell the cyberbullies and their victims? I will tell the cyberbullies why do they want to do it online rather than in person to tell them the truth that they don't like that person. It would be better than doing it online. At least the person won't be as sad. I will also tell their victims to don't on surf the internet for a few weeks.

My June Holidays
During the June holidays, on 3rd June, I went to Pasir Ris park together with a group of people from a student care centre. We also went to the beach to collect sea shells. I collected quite a few sea shells. While we were collecting, it started to rain. We quickly went to look for a shelter. We had some fun activities under the shelter. We had our lunch under the shelter. When the rain had stopped, We went to the playground to play. There were a lot of ropes to climb. We need to climb up the ropes in order to slide down the slides. Some of the slides were quite long. There were many different kinds of things to do in each of the places at the playground. Finally, it was time to go back. We went to the shelter to take our bags and wait for the bus to come. While waiting, some of us went to buy some ice-cream to eat. When the bus came, we went up the bus. It took quite a long time to reach back to the student care. My grandmother came to fetch me and we went home. It was an enjoyable time at the Pasir Ris Park.
On 12 June, I went to Wild Wild Wet with my family. We went there at noon as it only opens around 10 o'clock. We went to buy the ticket and went in. The first thing we did was to change into our swimming costumes. We found a place to put our things and went in. My brother wanted to go to the one which when we go in the water, we must take a float either the big one or the small one. it looks like a river but it just goes round. It was quite a big circle. When we reach the end, we must go to the left side if you do not want to go another round. As the water will push you and it will bring you to another round. Then we went to the Sky Rider. The queue was very long as we had to go in pairs only. When it was my turn, I went with my mother. We had to paddle in order to move. The trail was quite short too. Then we went to the Ular-lar. We had to climb up the long stairs up to go there. The queue was also very long. There must be around 6-7 people in the big float. Then someone will push the big float down. It will go down a wide slide. It was very scary as it slides down. It will slide down to the bottom and as the water is not deep, we will have to come down from the big float then it will come up by a machine again. After that, we went to the Tsunami. We must take a float there. Then when there is no waves, we have to go in to the water as deep as we can. Then when the waves are coming, they will blow the whistle or ring the bell. The waves will slowly push us out. When we were out, we could go back in again. After that, we went to take a quick bath in the toilet and change back to our normal clothes. We had an enjoyable day there and we ate dinner at the food court over there. After dinner, we took a walk at the E-hub and we went home after that.

Computer Games
My favourite game is at y8.com. It has many games in it. One of my favourite game is ''Boxhead''. I always played it with my brother. We always co-operate to fight with those monsters over there. I usually die during the game because I don't know how to control it very well. Another one of my favourite game is ''Playing With Fire 2''. It is also very fun. I don't play this game with my brother as I like to play it myself. I don't die easily during this game as it is very easy to play and control using the up, down, left, right keys. Some other games that I usually play are ''Bloons Tower Defense 2, Hotdog Bush and Penguin Diner''. It is also fun but I don't quite like it except for the ''Bloons Tower Defense 2''. I like to play it but it is not easy to play so I don't like it so much like my favourite games.

My First IT Lesson
Actully, I don't about the first IT lesson. It was after the mother tongue lesson. When my form teacher said that there was an IT lesson, I was excited and shocked because I didn't have any lesson using the school laptop before. Mr Justin our teacher assistant help our teacher and told us the rules on how to use the laptop too. My teacher chose the IT leaders from every group. They help us to carry the laptops and bring it to our desk. When we turn on our laptop, the teacher told us not to do anything before she gives instructions to log in. We must wait for everyone to log in before we continue. As we do not have much time for the lesson, we only open the internet explorer and log in to Yahoo. This is to ensure that all the laptops are in working condition. We have to separate the laptops which are not able to sign in to Yahoo.
I am looking forward to the next IT lesson so that I can get to learn more about the computer.

My First Week of School
I was very nervous when school re-opened because I meet new friends and teachers. This year my form teacher is Mdm Phua. She is kind and friendly. As this year, we are going to learn a new subject : Science, it would be more for us to remember. On the first day of school, I woke up at 6:30. I went to eat my breakfast, bath and wear my uniform. After that, I wore my socks & shoes and get ready to go to school! When I went to the parade square, I was confused because there were so many classes from P3-P6. I went to my class and sat down to read a book. We sang the National Anthem, said the pledge and sang the school song after that. When we went back to our classes to introduce ourselves. After school, I went to my bus lane. As it was the first time that I took the school bus, I asked my friend where is the bus lane I was looking for. After taking the school bus, I went to a student care centre. I think this year at school will be an exciting one.
